Students of all degrees have taken part in the 16th International Students Congress (CIE) of the Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera. This event takes place each year to attract the interest of students in research. Moreover the intention is to direct science towards the search of solutions to improve our environment and the life of people.

“Science with conscience: towards a society without barriers”.

Moreover students have been able to take part in encounters with researchers within the framework of the program Café con Ciencia. They have dealt with very different issues such as “The power of imagination and virtual reality”, “Collaborative economy”, “Skin care based on scientific evidence” or “The dangers of social networks”, among others.

There have also been activities for the days previous to the Congress to transmit that diversity is a whole source of collective enrichment.

Students have been able to know more about how to encourage the research of rare diseases by scientists and associations of patients.

The film producer and director Miguel Ángel Font has also taken part in these previous sessions about “Xmile, cinema through the five senses” in a table that has also counted with the presence of Juan Benages, a reference in independent life.

On Wednesday 10th the last sessions were celebrated with the round table “Inclusive sport. Sports for all” with the attendance of Aderes, the sports club of Burjassot which served as inspiration for Javier Fesser for his film “Campeones”. It also counted with the presence of the team of physiotherapists A Contracorrent Esport Adaptat who made clear that education is the key to advance towards inclusion.
