A student of CEU San Pablo is granted the Adefarma-Bidafarma award to the best Pharmacy Degree Final Project of the CAM

Carlota Pérez Sánchez, student of Universidad CEU San Pablo, has received the Award of Excellence Adefarma-Bidafarma, worth 3,500 euros for her Final Project of the Degree of Pharmacy. This award has been granted after the unanimous decision of a panel of experts.

An acknowledgment to the best Pharmacy Degree Final Project of the Community of Madrid

The project titled “Gastro-resistant capsules of naproxen sodium 550mg for rheumatoid arthritis in adults” has been directed by Professor Carmen Trives. With this project our student has competed with nearly one hundred university students of all faculties in Madrid both of public and private centres.

This award acknowledges projects which outstand for their excellence, quality and innovation so its award is a real breakthrough for Universidad CEU, strongly committed to these values. It is the natural consequence of the scientific and research culture pursued in our university centres. In particular, the faculty of Pharmacy has fully equipped laboratories and also makes available to its students Research Support Services both at the Faculty and at hospitals.

The panel of experts was formed by Noelia Tejedor, President of Sefac Madrid; Luis Francisco Ortega, Vice-Secretary of the Board of Bidafarma; Cristóbal López de la Manzanara, President of Adefarma and Rubén Martínez Lázaro, Vice-Secretary and First Vocal of Adefarma.

The award ceremony took place last 24 January at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. After its celebration, the academic ceremony ended with a round table with the assistance of professionals from different areas of the pharmaceutical sector.

This is the second edition of the awards sponsored this time by Bidafarma, Alter and Fundación Hefame.
