Times Higher Education has disclosed the results of its Impact Rankings, which classify higher education centres worldwide according to compliance with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Assessment is made on the grounds of evidences provided by participating institutions which choose the objectives in which they want to be assessed, except for “alliances for the accomplishment of objectives” mandatory for all.
This edition our Universities (CEU USP, CEU UCH and UAO CEU) have ranked 101-200 in “health and wellbeing”. This result is based among other aspects, on the existence of researches and publications of impact on the scope of healthcare sciences, on the implementation of healthcare programs directed not only to the university community but also to general population and on the support offered to mental health by universities.
CEU Universities have been listed among the 200 best universities worldwide over a total of 1,101 institutions assessed and rank fourth in Spain being the best Spanish private university with respect to this objective.
This result is especially relevant if it takes into account the evidences used as basis which are public, proving that we have achieved it from the strictest fidelity to our identity principles, consistent with the social doctrine of the Catholic Church with respect to health, life and family.
Also our Universities rank 478 over 1,180 universities worldwide in “quality education”. This achievement certifies our commitment to quality education which does not only focus on our students but rather reaches the general public with the public and free offer of academic resources such as CEU Media and CEU History Channel, Radio CEU and the institutional repository Global CEU.
