European recognition as international university

The European Consortium for Accreditation in Higher Education (ECA) has granted Universidad CEU San Pablo, USP, the Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation (CeQuInt) for its international and intercultural dimension and the quality of its programs.

This certificate values its optimal vision of internationalization, its capacity to permeate all aspects of university life beyond national and its global vocation and recognises the effort made by teachers, students and University staff to teach youngsters how to successfully unfold in a competitive and global world. Therefore the differential mission of the institution, which students cross borders, acquiring an education and skills which prepares them for a multicultural labour market is recognised.

Universidad CEU San Pablo is the first University in Madrid and the second in Spain along with CEU Cardenal Herrera, in Valencia to achieve this institutional distinction being included in the prestigious list of accredited universities (either the whole university or some programs/faculties) such as: Maastricht University (the Netherlands), Utrecht University (the Netherlands), Laurea University (Finland), Wageningen University (the Netherlands), Groningen University (the Netherlands), Hague University (Hague, the Netherlands) or the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna, among others.

The result obtained has revealed both its appropriate internationalization strategy and its balanced development in all dimensions. CEU USP has obtained a good qualification in all parameters assessed.
