Humanity, innovation, employability and internationalization; 4 ingredients of a different forms of learning

“At CEU Universities we follow a teaching model that allows us to continue forming students with different forms of learning. Therefore, we want our teaching model to be more active, allowing the participation of students to make them commit to their own learning, in their area of expertise and from a humanistic point of view” recently explained Rosa Visedo, Dean of Universidad CEU San Pablo USP.

We want them to be oriented to the service of society, try to -through their professional action- have a positive impact on the society and the environment. We want to create a community between students and professors, returning to the origin of a community of teachers and disciples that learned together and whose objective was the search of the truth through knowledge.

Also, explained Rosa Visedo they have the CEU Accompaniment Model through which “we help students develop all their potential thanks to a comprehensive and personalized attention in all dimensions: personal, academic, professional and spiritual”.

The Dean of Universidad CEU San Pablo adds that USP will continue in the future insisting on a teaching and learning innovation model and will continue to commit to the improvement of employability and approach to the corporate world. “We wish to create knowledge and transfer it to the society and companies through our policy of research, relevant and with great social impact”.

123 active research projects

In this sense she explains that this University has around 123 research projects active at this time with a financing of around 2 million euros. “University has to be the territory of knowledge and in order to raise students we first have to generate such knowledge in ourselves. We have digitalization as a transversal tool that helps us improve our processes and generate the culture of information to support the decision making process to make the best decisions in all senses”.

To sum up, humanity, innovation, employability and internationalization are the ingredients with which CEU Universities prepare their full and personal study plan.
