Over 60 companies meet at the Employment Forum at Monteprincipe Campus

In order to present the main challenges of the future employment market and for the attendants to enjoy a unique employability experience, over sixty companies have taken part in this last edition of the Employment Forum at Monteprincipe Campus of Universidad CEU San Pablo.

An event focused mainly on Alumni, post-graduate students and last-year students who have known first-hand the existing employment opportunities at the main corporations, major consumption companies, law firms and media and communication agencies.

Moreover they have known the most demanded skills and competences by organizations within the framework of digital transformation.

During the Forum, they have carried out thirteen recruitment processes on campus and Job Teaser has given practical workshops to provide candidates with the necessary tools to show their abilities and storytelling turning them into the ideal candidates.

Inspiration, contact and advice, key to extend employability.

The Rector of CEU San Pablo, Rosa Visiedo, has inaugurated this Forum highlighting some of its objectives; inspiration, contact and advice; a session which seeks to extend employability of students. “Our University is implementing initiatives that tend to boost the potential of students to make them more employable” has declared. In this sense, the Rector has explained that this is due to the “constant change of demands of companies and the urge for new professional profiles and specializations in a world in which everything changes dramatically”.

The session has started with the pep talk of CEU Architecture Alumni, social entrepreneur and CEO of Auara, Antonio Espinosa de los Monteros, named “The great opportunity” where he has highlighted the importance of “accomplishing goals and being the best version of ourselves making the most of the unique position we have to change the world”.

During this session, they have developed the panel “Future is Coming” formed by the General Director of Human Resources of the Council of Public Health of the CAM, Raquel Sampedro; the Medical Responsible of the Respiratory Area of AstraZeneca, Pablo Viguera Ester; the Director of Talent of Luis Vidal Arquitectos, Andoni Arrizabalaga; and the Head of Communication of SAP Talent Acquisition, Ana Mª Gómez Quevedo.

Also we have had a round table on Architecture, titled “Build your future” with the participation of Sandra Bueno, Senior Market Analyst at Idealista; Isaac Castresana, Senior Project Manager and Architect at AECOM; Enrique Fonseca Pizarro, Project Manager at JLL; and Pilar Rotaeche Montalvo, Head of Human Capital at PWC España. In this session, experts have analysed the profession of architects as well as the different career opportunities of the Degree in Architecture.
