Universidad CEU San Pablo hosts the Employment Forum with the attendance of over 80 companies

Over 80 companies have met at the Employment Forum at Moncloa Campus organized by the service of Professional Careers; an unique employability experience that has resumed it in-person format, strengthening the link between University and Company. This encounter, directed to last year students, postgraduates and alumni, has allowed attendants discover professional opportunities of the main law firms, corporations and major consumption companies and media and communication agencies. Also, attendants have had the possibility to learn about the main challenges of the labour market future as well as the skills and abilities most demanded by organizations within a context of digital transformation.

The Dean, Rosa Visiedo, has inaugurated this Forum recalling the need to continue working in students’ employability. “We do not want you to fear labour market incorporation. I invite and insist you on making the most of all resources offered by the University to bring you closer to the professional world”, has declared. In this sense, the Dean has explained that “University is starting initiatives intended to increase the potential of students to make them more employable; this is due to the constant change of companies’ demands and the urgency of new professional profiles and specializations in a world where everything change vertiginously” and has invited to “value “soft skills” related to critical thinking, creativity and team work, that our educational project teaches us and that will help you outstand in every recruitment process”.

“Do not worry about your future. Work on it”. This has been the first sentence of the opening talk “And you, what are you doing here?” by Pablo González, co-founder and CEO of TRIVU, who pointed out that “the world we are facing is BANI: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible». In this line, entrepreneurs have referred to the need of making the most and managing motivation as “you are not born or grow up being motivated, this is something that has to be worked every day”.

During this encounter there has been a round table under the title “Keys to build your professional future” moderated by Marta Medina, Professor of Publicity and Public Relations and responsible of CEU HUB, with the participation of Leticia Gayo Gonzalez, Legal Management Group Head of BBVA España; Pablo Lozano, commercial responsible of Financial Products at Generali Seguros; and Iria Domínguez, Omnichannel Account Manager at Loewe perfumes.
