CEU Universities have attended the International Universities Fair NAFSA 2019. This annual event is the most important education fair worldwide and has served to create partnerships with international centres and to strengthen those already existing; all aimed at providing our students with the best international education.
The NAFSA (Association of International Educators) is a non-profit organization with over ten thousand professionals of international education. They work to promote and manage academic and exchange programs between higher education institutions worldwide.
A global and changing world
The sector of education is undergoing great changes which require the adaptation to innovative pedagogical methodologies and new ways of learning. This challenge requires professionals to know other educational models. Therefore, doors are opened to international knowledge being also offered to our students.
The CEU stand welcomed Swen Seebach, Head of the Department of International Relations along with Malgorzata Smigiel, International Coordinator. Both of them are members of Universidad CEU Abat Oliba. We also counted with Mareike KIwitt and Estela Herranz as coordinators of International Mobility of Universidad CEU San Pablo, in addition to Sheetal Joshi of Fundación Universitaria San Pablo CEU and Rosa Almoguera, collaborator as International Education Consultant.
During this visit we received the visit of the Spanish Ambassador in the United States, Santiago Cabanas Ansorena who emphasized the duty of those University centres that as the CEU take part in these events and commit to internationalization.
