Circular economy needs specialized professionals

Circular economy is a new production and consumption model guaranteeing growth sustainable in time. It promotes optimization of resources, reduction in raw materials consumption and use of wastes recycling them or giving them a new life to turn them into new products.

The purpose of circular economy is therefore to make the most of material resources available extending the life cycle of products.

Circular economy and sustainable development are unavoidable objectives to stop climate change effects and preserve our planet just as it is for future generations. Therefore both UN and the European Union, the majority of world Governments and companies have defined sustainability objectives that affect the society and will involve deep transformation of the actual economic scenario.

This model encourages productivity tailored to humans rather that a conception of the person tailored to productivity. It conceives productivity and long-term consumption and at the same time faces challenges such as climate change, pollution and loss of biodiversity.

New employments: expert in circular economy and sustainable development

Circular economy and sustainability offer new employment opportunities in companies. To benefit from this possibility we need specialized professionals.

Universidad CEU San Pablo and the Escuela de Unidad Editorial, ESUE, offer a program with university degree with national and international professionals who have implemented circular economy strategies in different sectors. The program offers also updated information of experts who are working in 2030 Agenda.

The Master in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development prepares students to form part of one of the major engines of economic recovery in the next years, when we will see an increase of over 12% of employments related to this scope already in 2028.

This Master qualifies them to design, apply and assess circular economy strategies and projects and sustainable development in any organization.

It is the only program on circular economy and sustainability that adapts to learning needs of each student with three levels: Expert, Specialist or Master, or individual modules depending on interests or possibilities. The Expert course studies modules 1-4 (20 ECTS) and the Diploma on Specialization, modules 1-8 (40 ECTS).

Each students can choose between doing it online from anywhere worldwide or hybrid combining online classes with in-person workshops in Madrid.
