Hello to the Summer University CEU

Once more the Summer University CEU starts this June with 15 courses embedded within the scope of health, economy, Arts,  engineering and architecture. A set of modules that will be taught from 21 June to 8 July conceived for students who wish to receive specific additional education; and given in different formats (in person, online and hybrid) by professors and academics of the University and other Higher Education Centres, institutions and companies.

The different courses will deal with topics directed by health professionals such as the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model, to know different strategies in the management of uncertainty in times of crisis; the fundamental keys to feel good every day; the development of soft skills, the awareness of the importance of personal skills, the management of emotions and interpersonal emotional intelligence; the analysis of real case studies in Physiotherapy and a closer approach to Alzheimer.

15 courses for students to obtain quality complementary education

This edition will also carry out a workshop on robotics for rehabilitation and functional compensations of motor diseases. During this year students will be able to build a myoelectric prosthesis of upper limbs. On the other hand, there will be a course on cosmetic technology during which students will be able to prepare several cosmetic products and will teach all activities regarding their preparation and control to guarantee their quality and safety.

Other workshops will analyse the past, present and future of vaccines through 8 real case studies; the possibility of undertaking businesses in China and Taiwan; the design of a skill for Amazon’s virtual assistant: Alexa; the knowledge of storytelling Apps and their application to employment contexts; and the learning of R-visualization, the  most popular language for the statistics analysis and study that will discover the fundamentals of programming and basic structures as well as the graphic representation of data.
