Universidad CEU San Pablo in Madrid hosted the solemn opening ceremony of 2023-2024 academic year, an event held with the attendance of the whole university community as well as with the General Manager of Universities of the Community of Madrid, Nicolás J. Casas; the rectors of Universidad Abat Oliba CEU, CEU Cardenal Herrera and CEU Fernando III, Rafael Rodríguez-Ponga, Higinio Marín and José Alberto Parejo Gámir, respectively as well as the Honorary Rector of Universidad CEU San Pablo.

For its part, Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera held its opening ceremony at the Assembly Hall of the campus Alfara del Patriarca (Valencia) chaired by its new rector, Higinio Marín and the Great Chancellor Alfonso Bullón de Mendoza. The act was also attended by the Archbishop of Valencia, Enrique Benavent, and the Autonomic Secretary of Universities, Esther Gómez, along with other academic authorities and several institutions of the Community of Valencia.
UAO CEU. Inauguration of the 50th anniversary course
Our Universitat Abat Oliba CEU has held the opening ceremony of the extension of its Campus at Bellesguard. A new building and the new garden spaces have been inaugurated.
UAO CEU hosted the opening act of a very special year as it is the 50th anniversary of its creation as a university institution. Also it celebrates 20 years since it was granted the status of private independent university (during the first decades it was an associated centre).
The solemn opening of the year was the starting point of a program of celebration acts on the occasion of the 50th anniversary that will take place throughout the next twelve months.
This acts has counted with the presence of the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, the Councillor of Research and Universities of the Regional Government of Cataluña, Joaquim Nadal, our President of the Catholic Association of Propagandists, of the CEU education group and Great Chancellor of the UAO CEU, Alfonso Bullón de Mendoza, and our Rector of the UAO CEU, Rafael Rodríguez-Ponga. It has also been attended by the Mayor of Vic, Albert Castells, the Deputy Mayor of the Town hall of Barcelona, Maria Eugenia Gay and our general manager of CEU education group, Javier Tello.
