The beginning of the year is always an important moment in the life of universities and its students and therefore CEU has everything ready to welcome all our students to the three Universities: Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, UAO, in Barcelona, Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera, UCH, in Valencia and Universidad CEU San Pablo, USP, in Madrid.
Universitat UAO, key dates at the beginning of the new year.
The key date of this University is 12th September. Date of the beginning of lessons.
However, previously, students have some important appointments with the University:
Year 0: Voluntary and free sessions for first year students. They serve to adapt and refresh basic knowledge.
- Business and Marketing: Mathematics. From 1 – 6 September (16.00 to 19.00 h)
- Psychology: Biology and or statistics. From 1 – 6 September (09.00 to 13.00 h)
- Communication: Language for Communication. From 4 – 6 September (10.00 to 13.00 h)
- Education: Education in Scenic Skills for Future Teachers. From 4 to 6 September (10.00 to 13.00 h)
To receive new students the University organizes a Welcome Day:
- Philosophy Degree. 4 September at 15.00 h
- Law and Business Faculty: 7 September at 09.00 h
- Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (Psychology): 7 September at 09.30 h
- Faculty of Communication, Education and Arts: 7 September at 10.00 h
Welcome Day for exchange students
And exchange students will have their own Welcome Day. It will also be held on 7 September. After enrolment at 08.45, the session will start at 09.00h at the Auditorium of the New Building.

From 4 to 9 September Universidad USP holds its Welcome Week. This welcome week offers you all the necessary information to get familiar with its services, academic resources, extra academic programs and personal growth opportunities. Also during this week you will have the chance to meet you peers, mentors (Buddy Senior), teachers and governance teams of your Faculty as well as to make several activities that will immerse you in an extraordinary environment of learning and discovering.
