The Faculty of Health Sciences of CEU UCH has been internationally rewarded

The Faculty of Health Sciences of Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera (CEU UCH) has become the first of the Community of Valencia to obtain the ANECA Certification Audit International ANECA of Implementation of internal Quality Education Systems for its three campus of Alfara del Patriarca (Valencia), Castellón and Elche. Also CEU UCH is the only private University of the Community of Valencia that attains this certificate for one of its Faculties.

The Certification of Implementation of Quality Internal Assurance System shows the quality and transparency of the Faculty of Health Sciences of CEU UCH, to accredit compliance of criteria of the AUDIT Program defined by the National Agency of Quality and Accreditation Assessment (ANECA) based on the Criteria and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG for its Spanish initials). This means that it acknowledges that the Faculty assessed meets the quality criteria defined both in the country and in Europe.

The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Verónica Veses, has highlighted the value of this certificate which “acknowledges the transparency and quality of all academic procedures of the Faculty as well as the strength of institutional repositories of academic indicators”.

Commitment to quality and transparency

Some of the processes listed in the CEU UCH System now certified in its Faculty of Health Sciences, are related to the definition of objectives and quality policies, the design and revision of education programs, the admission, enrolment, orientation and mobility of the student, the management of external internships and employment insertion, the recruitment, contracting and training of staff, the response to suggestions, the dissemination of public information and the revision of the system.

Also this Certification of Implementation of Internal Quality Assurance System shows the quality and transparency of the Faculty of Health Sciences of CEU UCH at its three campuses, the application of the continued improvement cycle in degrees and the orientation of these enhancements towards satisfaction of the different groups of interest.

CEU UCH has started the proceedings to obtain this same ANECA certificate for its Faculty of Veterinary, its Faculty of Arts and Communication Sciences and the Higher School of Technical Education.
