New international student thanks to the “Centre for Study Abroad” Program

 

Thanks to the implementation of the second program of the “Centre for Study Abroad”, a centre offering students the possibility to study a program in a prestigious university abroad, a student of the Catholic St. Norbert College located in Wisconsin, USA will join the Faculty of Arts and Communication Sciences of this University.

In the Arts Program, the student will share lecture room with national and Erasmus students and will take subjects such as Great Books of the Ancient World, Spanish Contemporary History, Spanish Language II and Technology and New Media, among others.

The student was greeted by the expert on International Education Rosa Almoguera and the coordinator of the “Centre for Study Abroad”, Teresa Mª Cilleruelo, who in addition held with him an orientation meeting to show him the security protocol of the Campus and the University regulations among other issues. Professors Ana María Calvo and Isabel Pérez, meanwhile, were in charge of guiding the new student through the Spanish culture, showing him the local customs regarding food, leisure, communication and language.

This second program of the “Centre for Study Abroad” is under the direction of the Vice-Chancellor of International Relations, Jesús Paúl.
