Receiving more and more internationals

Universidad CEU San Pablo has welcomed more than 390 full-time international students, 30% more with respect to previous years and more than 700 incoming students.

The Office of the Internationalization Vice-Chancellor represented by the Vice-Chancellor herself, Ainhoa Uribe; the International Mobility Coordinator, Alejandra Villena; and the technicians of International Relations Fernanda Miranda, Ana Ibarra, Ana Ly Tamargo, Verónica Matilla, Laura Liberatore, Alba Valle, Daniela Leguizamón and Diego Cornejo, along with the members of the Language Centre and City Life offered all information at the international stand to students during the Welcome Day. ​

Following a welcome session at the Aula Magna of the Polytechnic School informing students on the courses, activities and university services, students had the opportunity to meet in each faculty and meet their international coordinators and future peers.

On Wednesday 6 September during the first official day of class at the University, Moncloa campus students joined several tours organized by the Vice-Chancellor of Students and University Life assisted by Maryana Mykhats and Paula Martínez from the Language Centre.

Pablo Gutiérrez de Cabiedes, Director of Campus Life guided students in a tour around Madrid including Plaza de Isabel II, Plaza de la Ópera, Calle Mayor and Plaza Mayor. The tour was repeated the next day to visit Callao, Gran Vía, Sol and much more. Finally after a long day, students had the opportunity to known each other better and enjoy some Spanish-style tapas.
