Over 200 incoming students say farewell to USP CEU in the Farewell Day

Over 200 incoming students have finished their academic stay and Universidad CEU San Pablo de Madrid has hosted its traditional ‘Farewell Day’, a farewell event for international students coming from Universities in Europe, the US, South Korea, Taiwan, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Uruguay and Colombia who have studied one term or the whole year; an encounter where they have received their diplomas and scholarships.

The Vice-Rector of Internationalization Ainhoa Uribe and the international academic coordinator of the Faculty of Law, Luis Rodrigo de Castro, have dedicated a speech to all students during this encounter. In his speech Uribe has pointed out that “international mobility is aimed at becoming an open, tolerant and global program to help students adapt to a new environment and adopt different cultural approaches”. In this sense, the Vice-Rector has reminded that “learning is to transform, open and grow. Our mission is to raise professionals and share our vision, social commitment and vocation”.

Moreover in representation of their colleagues, the students Dion Dijkshoorn from Inholland University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands); Paul Agarwall from Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart (Germany); Antonia Moreira from Universidad del Desarrollo (Chile); and Kseniia Vlaskova, Ukrainian student have given several speeches.
