CEU Universities present at QS Americas Summit

CEU Universities were present in the international Universities encounter “QS Americas 2022” held at Vila Velha.

During this event several key aspects of the academic world were put in common, discussion panels were held and case studies were presented. All this led to networking between attendants in order to build strategic alliances.

Alessandro Mini, Vice-Dean of International Relations and Research of Universidad Abat Oliba CEU, took part in the panel ‘Partnerships on level terms” dealing with the collaboration between university and industry and the difficulties when creating institutional relations between the global North and the global South.

During the encounter CEU Universities were awarded a certificate for their participation in the QS Stars rating, an assessment system to which universities worldwide submit to certify their fulfilment of the demanding quality standards established by QS and where CEU Universities obtained the highest possible grade in internationalization, employability, teaching and inclusiveness.

Also CEU Group had the opportunity to present its academic offer and exchange information with all participants at its corporate stand.

The participation in this type of international forums forms part of the internationalization strategy of CEU Universities, actions that provide them with greater visibility abroad. Moreover recently CEU Universities have ranked fourth at the QS World University Ranking 2023 in Spain and 301 worldwide in the scope of internationalization of classes. Once more, this award confirms CEU’s commitment that helps attract to its studies 30% of foreign students, a rating of foreign students above the average, 25% above academic institutions analysed in such ranking.
