Educational systems of the different countries are undergoing continuous transformation just as students’ interests. This is why it becomes necessary to redesign academic programs in line with the demands and requirements of youngsters of the present world.
In order to know and share knowledge about the situation of higher education, CEU Universities have been present in the ICEF Higher Education Workshop last 8th and 10th September. It is an international networking event gathering higher education agents and institutions worldwide to know the educational systems of other countries.
Diverse educational realities
The CEU counted with the presence of Olga Morelli from Universidad Abat Oliba, Camino García of Universidad San Pablo CEU and Sheetal Joshi of the international area of the Foundation. During the workshop, they met with international agents of countries such as Turkey, India, Morocco, Vietnam, China, Uganda, Russia, South Korea, Nigeria, Italy, Iran, Bulgaria, Albania, Germany, Thailand, Georgia, Brazil or Macedonia.
Through the different workshops they got to know the educational realities of other nations and which were the interests of international students in higher education institutions in Spain or the areas of expertise which interest them the most. Also they could attend different seminars highlighting among them:
- A SWOT analysis by Abhijit Zaveri, Managing Director of Career Mosaic in India.
- “How to use big-data before real time students’ demands” by Laurents Vehmeijer, Analytic Consultant of StudyPortals Netherlands.
- “Rethinking Marketing and Recruitment” by Mike Henniger, Sales & Marketing Vicepresident of ICEF Germany.
International vocation
The ICEF Higher Education Workshop represents a unique opportunity to known the demands and trends on education. In addition, it offers the possibility to exhibit the educational services offered by our institution.
It is worth mentioning that CEU Universities have a clear international vocation because we know that the destination of our graduates is the world. Our universities are among the most international in Spain and Europe. CEU welcomes international students.
