Over 2,400 new students have joined this week Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera classes at its three campus in Alfara del Patriarca (Valencia), Elche and Castellón. Nearly 800 new students are from other countries, mainly France, Italy and Taiwan although the number of new Latin American students has also increased.
The University has received new students with Sessions where they have been offered academic information on the institution, faculties, degrees and services available for students.
They have also had the opportunity to know mentor students in a CEU UCH initiative that offers all new students the opportunity to contact 2nd to 4th year students at their arrival to the University. With this program the University wants to make the integration of students in campus and adaptation to University life easier.
Nearly 800 new students representing 90 different nationalities have taken part in an International Welcome Session where they have seen their campus for the next years.
The Vice-Chancellor of Internationalization Chirag Sheth, and the Vice-Chancellor of Students María José González, along with the professor of the Faculty of Veterinary José Terrado have been in charge of opening this institutional welcome event. An encounter where young students have been able to participate in different activities, designed to know better the University and their colleagues for the next years.
In his speech, the Vice-Dean of Internationalization has encouraged new students to make the most “of this unique time of your life and this university community committed to your integration and education”.
