Video Award International Contest-Share Your International Experience

Studying abroad goes far beyond the academic scope. It is a comprehensive experience to travel, meet a new culture and establish friendship relations with people all around the planet creating a vital experience which leaves a trace.

Looking for the best video on the experience of being an international student

The Service of International Relations of Universidad CEU has focused on this experience idea to propose the contest “International Video Award – Share Your International Experience” to international students of the Universidad CEU Abat Oliba.

Experiences are to be shared

The purpose of this threefold proposal is:

• To encourage international students to prepare a video including all its experience, both in class and in the city of Barcelona.
• To turn participating videos into motivating tools to encourage more students to study abroad.
• To contribute to the projection of the international image of Universidad CEU Abat Oliba.

Who can take part?

This modality is aimed at the incoming foreign students who enjoy the experience of living in Barcelona. The students of our centre who are studying abroad (outgoing) have their own category. For them the period for the presentation of videos ends in April.

How to take part

Videos can last between 45 seconds and two minutes. They should show all the intensity of the academic activity and life in Barcelona.

Participants shall try to do a summary exercise for which their creativity and ability with the resources of the audio visual language are crucial. The quality of the message, impact, creativity, aesthetic and sense of humour of proposals will be considered.

To present the pieces, those interested will have to upload videos to Youtube as a private video and send the link to [email protected]. It may also be shared by WeTransfer to the same email. The deadline will be 10^th December.
